Xu Haimeng: Someone Once Helped Home, Now Walking Beside Her Search | 徐海梦：曾经被送回家的人，如今陪她一起寻找

In October 2024, we witnessed Ni Mei’s journey home.

Now, having found her own family, she is bringing her experience and understanding to support another friend — helping Xu Haimeng continue searching for her own answers.

Xu Haimeng now lives in the Netherlands.

According to available information, her estimated date of birth is 1 October 1995. On 28 February 1996, she was found at Wuhan Children’s Hospital in Hubei Province. Beyond this, she knows very little about the earliest chapter of her life.

Many years later, Haimeng has begun her own journey to search for family.

This time, she is not walking alone.

By her side is someone who has travelled a similar path — through searching, waiting, confirmation, and reunion.

Perhaps no one understands the longing to know where one comes from more deeply than someone who has once searched themselves.

Searching for family is not only about looking into the past. It can also be about human connection — a hand extended after one’s own journey has come full circle.
