Mother’s Day: Honouring Those Who Nurture Life

Every year, on the second Sunday of May, many places around the world celebrate Mother’s Day. It is a day to express gratitude to mothers and also a moment to reflect on the meaning of care.

Motherhood takes many forms. It may come from birth mothers, adoptive mothers, grandmothers, or caregivers. It may also come from those who offer guidance, companionship, and support along a child’s journey of growing up. With patience and dedication, they nurture and protect children day after day.

Through its work alongside families, The Mothers’ Bridge of Love has learned that genuine care begins with seeing one another and supporting one another.

On this special day, may every mother be gently recognised and appreciated, and may all who give care feel valued and understood.

Happy Mother’s Day. 🌷
