Recently, volunteers from the Jiangyin Family Search group read aloud to Jiang Xing (English name Brenna) an official Kinship Confirmation Document issued by the Criminal Investigation Division of the Luqiao Branch, Taizhou Public Security Bureau in Zhejiang Province.

This document marks an important milestone in her journey to find her biological family.

Travelling thousands of miles from the United States, Brenna returned to Jiangyin, Jiangsu, where she has now reunited with her Chinese relatives. When she arrived, her young nephew greeted her with excitement, welcoming his aunt in enthusiastic English.

The moment of reunion was a quiet echo of long-held emotions — and the long-awaited answer to a journey of searching and hope.
