An Invitation to Traces of Spring | Opening Event

The Mothers’ Bridge of Love (MBL) Huggle Art Exhibition, Traces of Spring: Paintings by Daniel Lee and His Students, opened warmly on 6 April 2026 at Charing Cross Library in London and will remain on display until 3 July. Surrounded by the quiet companionship of books, the artworks wait patiently for kindred viewers.

During the exhibition, we will also welcome a special gathering. The opening event will take place on Saturday, 25 April 2026, from 16:00 to 16:30, on the lower ground floor of Charing Cross Library.

This is a moment of creation, artistic inheritance, and exchange.

The exhibition features one representative work by UK-based artist and art educator Daniel Lee, alongside paintings by 32 of his students. Teacher and students are presented side by side, like new shoots emerging in spring, each expressing a distinct artistic voice while carrying forward the spirit and rhythm of brush and ink.

At the opening event, Daniel Lee will lead the audience into the world of the paintings, offering a chance to experience how the breath of Eastern brushwork meets the light of a British spring. Fresh green on the branches and the shifting colours of clouds after rain are all transformed into scenes upon the canvas.

We warmly invite you to step into this exhibition space, to see the traces of spring, to see something of yourself, and to feel the power of love growing through all things in art.
